Use Of The App

TransparentBLE is a Bluetooth Low Energy utility for scanning, connecting, inspecting, recording local diagnostics, and working with BLE device profiles. Profiles can describe how device data is parsed, displayed, and controlled. You are responsible for using the app safely and only with devices you own or are authorized to inspect.

Device Control And Profile Writes

Some profile actions may write commands to a BLE device. Only send commands when you understand their purpose and trust the target device and profile file. Incorrect, unsafe, or untrusted BLE commands may change device behavior, alter stored settings, interrupt operation, cause data loss, or damage connected hardware. The app may require confirmation for control actions, but you remain responsible for the commands you choose to send.

Profile Files

Profile files may be downloaded from this site, imported by you, or created by other users. Review profile files before using them with hardware. A profile can define command payloads and parsing rules, and an incorrect or untrusted profile may display wrong values or send unintended commands. Use profile files and control actions at your own risk.

No Warranty

TransparentBLE is provided as is, without warranties or guarantees of any kind. The app may not work with every BLE device, firmware version, or iOS version. Profile data, decoded values, and command behavior are not guaranteed to be correct for your device.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss, damage, device behavior, data loss, or other consequences resulting from use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
